Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hardcourt
A comeback Daniil Medvedev claimed his initial championship for 882 days with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult season, managing just a single victory at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and struggles with his service game in especial - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and finally parting ways with long-time coach Cervara.
Currently training with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, he has gradually advanced in the past month - culminating in a hard-fought three-set triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's initial trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court since that period of the previous year.
Success also indicates Medvedev has won twenty-one victories at 21 various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a tournament with my children at once, so to get a trophy is really nice," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my second daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I won when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had been defeated in his last six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
Medvedev's counter-punching approach and frequent emotional displays on the playing surface had led some to question if his capacity to play at the highest level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, striving to advance forward and perform positively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
He came back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the challenging opponent, taking 4 of the final five points to gain the advantage.
Both players swapped service breaks in the second set before Moutet, striving for his initial professional championship, gained dominance to push for a decider.
Moutet saved four initial chances in a competitive deciding set before the champion broke to that score to serve for the match.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned victory with a shot at the front of the court, with Moutet failing to control a shot after a lengthy match.
